Mapping the Journey
Our Guide. Our Story. Our Purpose.
Every epic journey starts with a map. Why should music practice be any different?
A good map shows us where we're going—a visual guide to take us from where we are to where we want to be.
But let’s take it a step further. What if we reimagine the map as our student's narrative—a story of their hopes, dreams, desires, and fears—their epic path where each step forward becomes a challenge on the road to their destination?
When practice follows a clear, meaningful path, students feel empowered, motivated, and excited to keep going.
The old tools—like repetition—still have value. But repetition without a story is practice without a purpose.
Instead, let's design practice that inspires our students to play an active role in their compelling story.
